Carlo Ancelotti praised Kylian Mbappe for his “dangerous” performance following Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Getafe on Sunday.
Mbappe silenced recent criticism with a spectacular goal after missing a penalty against Liverpool in midweek.
Real Madrid took the lead in the 30th minute when Jude Bellingham converted from the spot.
Soon after, Bellingham set up Mbappe for a brilliant long-range shot that ricocheted off the post and into the net, doubling Madrid's lead.
The win moved Madrid to within a point of La Liga leaders Barcelona, with Madrid having a game in hand.
“(Mbappe) was as dangerous as ever,” Ancelotti said during his post-match press conference.
“He scored an important goal that helped us control the game better.

“He created opportunities in the second half as well.” It was a very active performance and that's exactly what we expect from him.”
Mbappe's recent form has come under scrutiny, with the Frenchman scoring just twice in nine games before Sunday.
However, his goal against Getafe marked the first time since September that he has scored in back-to-back La Liga games.
“It's a relief, yes,” added Ancelotti.
“At 2-0 you increase your chances of securing the win… It was a spectacular goal, fantastic. (Mbappe)'s overall performance was excellent.
“Fans recognize the form of both the team and the individual players. Their support for Mbappe was deserved.”
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham was substituted at half-time due to discomfort, but Ancelotti played down concerns over the midfielder's condition.
“Bellingham had a problem with his neck and couldn't continue,” explained Ancelotti. “I believe he will recover in a few days.”
Looking ahead, Real Madrid face a busy schedule. They travel to Athletic Club on Wednesday and Girona on Saturday for La Liga games, followed by a Champions League clash at Atalanta.
