How ranking works
Directly compares products offered by many different shops. As required by EU consumer law, here are the main parameters that determine which results we show and in which order.
Main parameters and their weight
- Image similarity (45 %) — how close the product photos are (perceptual fingerprints and visual search).
- Title similarity (25 %) — shared descriptive words after removing marketing noise.
- Same model ID (20 %) — identical model number, part number or barcode.
- Shared specifications (10 %) — e.g. capacity, size, wattage.
Labels
- "Same model ID" — score ≥ 85 %
- "Likely source" — score ≥ 70 %
- "Similar item" — score ≥ 55 %
- Below that, results are not shown.
Tie-breaker and filters
Equal scores are ordered by the lower landed cost. We only show offers priced at or below the shop you are checking, that ship to your country, and at most three results.
What does not influence ranking
Commission, affiliate status or any payment. There are no paid placements. Search results come from the supplier catalogs and search services we query; we don't verify whether an offer comes from a trader or a consumer — where known, the shop name is shown on each result.
